Confidence on Indian democracy

This was some thing which I wanted to write for some time since the election results were out. I was very pessimistic about the result for a stable mandate and I was quiet irritated the way the small parties demanded their pie for the formation of government last time. I was wondering how people can choose somebody who they know that or the entire world knows that they are of no use. Then I reasoned it in my mind in a different way. The entire world knows that the candidate or the party is opportunist but for the voters for that region, they may be of use. In this scenario I was sure that no one is going to get a clear mandate, because every body is important to somebody or other.
But the results which came out on May 16 were reiterating the fact that those who do good job will get recognition. It was a quiet relieving scene that a single party getting a confidence to command over its allies and all other parties, even if they are not having a clear majority. I feel this is the greatest thing of this year election result. Like every citizen of this country, i pray and wish to see good work from this government.
